Shabbat Across CSAIR
We are pleased with the wonderful participation from families across CSAIR. Enjoy this video of over 40 families who shared their Challah and Shabbat preparations!
#ShabbatAcrossCSAIR
Friday & Saturday
March 5-6, 2021
We can’t wait to celebrate Shabbat with you in person, but until then we can celebrate Shabbat simultaneously and be together in spirit. In addition to the Purim treats in the mishloach manot bag lovingly prepared by CSAIR’s amazing Sisterhood, we are offering you the ingredients for our first-ever Shabbat Across CSAIR on March 5-6, 2021 (the week after Purim!)

A Few Ways To Participate
BAKE A CHALLAH
Use the packet of Red Star yeast to bake challah. Use your recipe or try Shoshi Talesnick’s grandmother’s recipe along with braiding instructions.
MAKE A L’CHAIM
Use the bottle of Kedem Grape Juice (note the custom label!) while you think of the shul and know that we are thinking of you!
SHOW OFF YOUR SHABBAT
So that we can feel a bit more connected, during the week of March 1, 2021, take a picture or video of yourself with your challah or your grape juice. Post it on Facebook or Instagram and in your post please include the hashtag #ShabbatAcrossCSAIR or send it to Mason Voit and he will post it with a greeting. It will be fun to see you (and your challah and grape juice!) as we head into Shabbat, March 5-6.
We are looking forward to seeing your posts and pictures!
With Love,
Rabbi Barry Dov Katz along with Business Manager Nanci Brickman, Rabbinic Intern Ben Freed, Rabbi Katie Greenberg, Facilities Manager Wilson Mena, Cantor Elizabeth Stevens, Operations Managers Estefany Tavarez, and Shanice Mateo, and Education Director Mason Voit.
