Learn to read Hebrew from scratch! This new class being offered by CSAIR during the High Holidays will introduce the whole Hebrew alphabet as well as the vowels. After each session, during services, you will be able to experience the richness of the Hebrew liturgy first-hand by searching for words that are central to the themes of the Holidays and are found throughout the liturgy. Classes will be held on Rosh Hashana (Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 10) from 9:00-10:00 AM; on Sunday, September 12 from 10:00 AM-Noon; and on Yom Kippur morning (Saturday, September 18) from 9:30-10:30 AM.

All are welcome. Please note: advance registration is required for this class. Call 718-543-8400 or write secretary@csair.org.
