There is Still Time to
Make a Kol Nidre Pledge
CSAIR extends its thanks to all those who made Kol Nidre pledges.
Thanks to the generosity of our congregants, the funds from the Kol
Nidre appeal help to defray many of the costs of maintaining our
synagogue and to fund many of its day-to-day operations.
If you haven’t already done so, there is still time to send your
contribution to the synagogue office. Make checks out to CSAIR and write
“Kol Nidre 2008” in the memo section.
Sponsor a Kiddush
Please consider marking a birthday,
anniversary, or other event by sharing your simchah with the CSAIR
community and sponsoring a Shabbat morning Kiddush. Contact the office
for more information or to reserve a date. General donations to the
Kiddush Club are much appreciated.
Births
We love to announce the arrival of
our newest members of our CSAIR family! Please let us know of your
simchah by contacting the office at
secretary@csair.org
or at 718-543-8400. Can't fit your entire family in your home for
the bris (brit milah) or baby naming (simhat bat)? Contact

Death and Funeral
Information
The Ritual Committee, in consultation with Rabbi Katz, has established
relationships with two area funeral home to ensure that our congregants
will be provided with a basic Jewish funeral, the elements of which meet
Rabbi Katz’s standards. While not all funeral homes are the same, or
have the same charges, the synagogue has established these relationship
to help to minimize the potential difficulty associated with the
arrangements process in a period of stress, tension and grief.
Rabbi Katz and the Executive Director are always available to provide
you with the practical details and spiritual guidance in these matters.
